Humewood House is a young parent resource centre with a 10 bed residence, four prenatal and six postnatal rooms. Young women, 12 to 21, can live at Humewood for up to 6 months postnatal. We have two Section 23 Care and Treatment Education Program classrooms and a licensed daycare for up to 10 infants. Our community program provides one to one counselling, group programs and a food/donation bank. We also have a 27 unit transitional and supportive housing program with an on site young parent resource in North York. Rent geared to income apartments are available to young families for up to four years.   Young families in the community can access support, group programs, a community kitchen, on-line computers, a food bank and donation room.
