Saint
Monica House is a nonprofit organization
that provides professional support for
single youth who are pregnant, placing for
adoption, or parenting, through
residential, supported housing and
community programs. Saint Monica
House offers comprehensive expectant and
new mother’s programs for women living in
our residence or in the community.
The support services offered include:

A residential program for
expectant mothers, new mothers and infants
·
Individual and group
counseling
·
Pre and post adoption support
·
Life skills:
o
Decision making workshops
o
Parenting classes
o
Preparation for independent
living
o
Career planning
o
Nutrition
o
Health care and prenatal
classes
·
Recreational opportunities
·
Twenty-four hour support.
Saint Monica House also
offers a high school program in conjunction
with the Waterloo Region District School
Board in which participants can earn credits
towards an Ontario Secondary School Diploma
by attending the accredited school program
with an on-site nursery.
Monica-Ainslie Place is a
subsidized, housing complex for single young
mothers and their children, seeking
transitional housing and support.
Group and individual programs are offered to
tenants and residents of the Cambridge
community through Monica Resource Centre
located on the first floor of Monica-Ainslie
Place. Program options include:
